In order to improve the technical condition of the port transshipment vehicles, in accordance with the instructions of the Ministry of the Navy, all vehicles should be transferred to the scheduled preventive maintenance system during 1955-1958. For the successful implementation of the planned program, a unified system has been installed for the inspection of transshipment machines, determining their technical condition and the required category of regular repairs. It is stipulated that the schedule of the frequency of machine repairs is one of the main documents that should be followed when planning the operational activities of the port, and deviation from the established deadlines for placing machines for repair is allowed only in exceptional cases for a period of no more than two to three days. It is also necessary to modernize reloading machines in order to improve their technical and operational characteristics, as well as to unify individual components and parts, to introduce machine assembly repair and advanced machining techniques to increase their wear resistance, widely popularizing the experience of port innovators in the operation and repair of reloading machines.


To organize the serial production of replacement parts, first of all, technical documentation for these parts must be provided.
